About PowerME

PowerME is a hobby business formed in late 2016 after discussion regarding the technology, or lack thereof, available for diesel and electric locomotives in Model Engineering in Australia.

The flagship product, PowerME Sound, was conceived as a result of the emergence of several diesel locomotives in the founders' home club, and the question of 'why can't we get good sound for these things?'. Two years later, Sound V1 was made available after much testing and proving.

The business is not a commercial enterprise, it is run by keen and committed model engineers to service the niche market of custom model engineering electronics. It is not in competition with the well-known suppliers in the hobby; rather, it is to provide that 'extra' detail only electronics designed by model engineers for model engineers can bring.
